    Took months to decide on these due to cost and not most attractive. Ultimately purchased because they were made for my speakers. In no way are they worth $100. Sturdy, but as others have noted, there were scratches (mine are faint and barely noticeable), but at this price, I expect perfection. I blame this on the "manufacturer's" packaging - very poor. Snap to assemble. Design for hiding wire is not the greatest. Using banana plugs, so this makes it more difficult. Live in apt so needed to get away from drilling massive holes in the walls for mounting so these work for me. And I like how they position the speakers at a good height. I'd recommend if you don't have a better solution for your environment.

    One set of stands (two pair purchased) arrived with paint irregularities (milky or cloudy areas or spots) on both floor bases and on vertical tubing around wiring opening (both ends, both stands in one of two sets). However, I have decided to keep the defective stands since it is cheaper to buy a can of spray paint and paint them than for me to to spend the $ and time to send them back.

      These stands take little time to set up and look great. I have a carpet floor and dont use the spikes that are included. The stand are stable but hitting them might knock them over. I think using the spikes would give me more confidence it is stable. Otherwise they are perfect for my home theater

      I used this for my front left/right speakers and it worked out great. The only minor problem I have is that from the side you can still see the wires behind the speakers and they project out quite a bit since I'm using banana plugs. Other than that this was exactly what I was looking for.
