Comments about Denon DRA-697CIHD AM/FM/HD Radio Multi-Zone Stereo Receiver:

I had an NAD Integrated Amp. I found the sound much too bright. Having listened to other Denon electronics I was anxious to hear the 697CI. I mainly listen to analogue vinyl, and the sound is so realistic to the original recording. I would highly recommend this Receiver to anyone that may be on a limited budget, but enjoy high quality reproduction.

Comments about Denon DRA-697CIHD AM/FM/HD Radio Multi-Zone Stereo Receiver:

Connecting the Denon with a CD, a turntable, a cassette deck, and its two antenna was easy. Then came tuning the radio stations and figuring out the presets. The manual was next to useless. It took a neighbor and I well over an hour to figure out the basics. There are two remotes that seem to do different functions. [...]But, when I tuned in my classical station, all was forgiven. Clear, crisp, noise free music made it worthwhile.

Comments about Denon DRA-697CIHD AM/FM/HD Radio Multi-Zone Stereo Receiver:

Everything is great about this receiver, except for the tiny print used to label switches on the front panel. Many users will need reading glasses, until they memorize the functionality of the various switches. There is room to use larger font, so I don't know why they didn't/
