What can you say about a product that is terrific for about two minutes before the pain on the sides of my head starts up? While the rechargable glasses work perfectly with 3D images, I should have paid attention to the reviews.Imagine watching a 3D movie with your head in a vise and you'll understand the experience. How can Sony, who makes great products including my Sony Bravia TV come up with a $70 pair of glasses that can't be worn for more than a few minutes before getting a throbbing headache. Sony says they are adjustable but it ain't so. I'm going to try to heat the temples and bend them to a new shape. Otherwise these two glasses I bought are useless.

Most unconfortable glassess ever worn

Comments about Sony TDG-BR250/B Rechargable Active Shutter 3D Glasses:
How can Sony, who makes great products including my Sony XBR TV come up with a $50 pair of glasses that can't be worn for more than a few minutes before getting a throbbing headache. Sony says they are adjustable but it ain't so. I'm going to try to heat the temples and bend them to a new shape. They have a new pair out for $100, maybe those will be more comfortable, but I'm not willing to pay that much money to find out

Where are the nose pieces
By leeoh
from MS
The glasses are extremely uncomfortable on the bridge of my nose. I found myself constantly adjusting where the glasses sat on my nose so that one spot wouldn't become too sore. The next day I literally had to put tissue on the sore spot so that I could tolerate having the glasses on. The competitors including a universal brand has different nose pieces available. Where are Sony's?

Great Glasses

These 3D glasses work wonderfully, the compensation for brightness built into my Bravia 3D settings allow me to use the glasses in the way best suited for my viewing. I have had no problems with the size of the glasses. The recharge feature is great and my whole family thinks the experience is as good as those found in the theater.

Quick hint on adjustment

Temple piece is designed for small head out of the box. However, the temple pices can be adjusted with moderate effort for larger head. I bent my temple pieces by 1.5 inch. Sony should include instruction for adjustment. Will give more feedback later.

Better than the older 3D glasses.
By Crazy77

I don't have the same problem having pain around my head where the glasses wrap around. I did on the first once that came out back then, but these new 3D glasses, I have no problems with. 3D glasses are still bit costly, at least they made some improvements.
